With the glorious weather on the summer bank holiday weekend, we had to get out. We signed ourselves up for another Berghaus event, taking place on 3 trails across the UK. The appropriately named TrailTakeover involved Berghaus staff standing in the fortunately great weather around 3 trails across the UK. Given we chose the Peak for our last Berghaus event and that we’re moving up that way I. The not so distant future, we decided to see what the Cotswolds had to offer.
Berghaus chose the Leckhampton Hill route, and in conjuction with Viewfinder app, people were able to explore the trail, see spectacular views from the top and try out a few interesting activities including foraging and slack lining. It provided a great place for us to try out some acroyoga too.
We had a great time on the trail and got speaking to a number of people on our way round, normally because Gee was hanging upside down off my feet on the edge and people showed some concern. But hey, that’s the excitement. Plus there was some photo competition!
We’d definitely recommend any of the Berghaus events, they’re well organised, fun, not too challenging and suitable for all ages with prizes and freebies sealing the deal. Remarkably the weather was favourable too!
