Kathmandu at Sheffield Adventure Film Festival

Kathmandu at BMC Sheffield Adventure Film Festival.

Last weekend I attended the BMC SHAFF held in the middle of Sheffield. We headed up on Saturday morning via Hathersage to look at some bikes in Sonder of Alpkit before making our way over to the festival to support Climbers Against Cancer. I stayed in the van for a bit and caught up on some sleep, but then made an appearance when it got a bit quieter. I ended up running the BMC stand for a bit while they all disappeared but luckily no customers came!

Once we’d packed up, we headed back to the van and over into the peak district where we stayed in the van. Before bed, we walked up under Stanage Edge and scrambled around on the boulders below. I was super happy, chasing bugs, water, shadows but then I spotted a sheep. It was staring at me so I stared back. My humans couldn’t see it because it was so dark, but I daren’t move in case it did something. I was convinced to jump on dad’s shoulders and we headed back down to the van.
